Haris & Selma are one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. When I met with Selma last year she only had intentions of booking me for her engagement session, but with a little sweet talking I convinced her to let me photograph her amazing wedding day. Everyone comes from different backgrounds, cultures and religions and I am so humbled being able to photograph everyones individual love story that is special to them. When we walked around Forest Park for their engagement session, Haris & Selma were laughing and holding each other the whole time, and were super duper sweet & in love. My heart was bursting because they were too cute to handle. I just knew that their wedding day was going to be something for the books. The wedding day was finally here, June 25th, 2016. It was hot and humid, but that did not stop all of us from having a perfect day. Haris & Selma are of Bosnian Culture, and it is a tradition for the bride to get ready at her parents house, and then the best man will meet her and her family at the door to give her away to her groom, Haris. This was something new to me, but I couldn't help but light up and cry when I saw the way Haris & Selma smiled at each other during this. All while their close friends and family were watching. It was special. Everything from the ceremony in the mosque to the pictures at the park, despite the heat, humidity and torrential down pour, we were able to get some pretty amazing photos, and I just adore them. Harris & Selma, thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me capture your gorgeous wedding day, and entrusting in me to be apart of it. I will never forget it.
